Netcare ‘worried’ claims lawyer

Netcare hopes to get KPMG barred from participating in the Competition Commission’s market inquiry into the private healthcare sector. [s]The Times[/s] reports that this is the claim of KPMG lawyer Wim Trengove in the Johannesburg High Court, who said Netcare is worried that the confidential information it passed on to KPMG when it contracted it for consulting and strategic work could be used against it in the Competition Commission's inquiry. It wants the court to order KPMG, which is opposing the application, to return all documents pertaining to the information.
