Govt Code of Practice on management of SARS-CoV2 exposure in workplace

Employment & Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi has issued a code of practice on the management of SARS-CoV-2 exposure in the workplace. This follows at least two instances where employees have been dismissed for refusing to get vaccinated and the dismissals have been ruled as fair by the CCMA The code’s purpose is to assist employers and employees in managing SARS-CoV-2 exposure in the workplace by guiding employers and employees in conducting or updating a risk assessment.
