Protests outside Pietermaritzburg’s Northdale Hospital yesterday saw security guards locking the gates and prohibiting people from either entering or leaving the premises, reports The Witness.
Northdale Board Chairperson Hlalani Zondi said they had asked the provincial Department of Health to address the matter swiftly, and that private security was guarding the hospital and no one was allowed to enter or exit the premises.
