Lawyers for [b]Press must be barred from hearing says doctors’ lawyers[/b] and [b]Dr Kashasha Mwenda[/b] – who are appearing before a conduct committee for alleged unprofessional conduct – claim the media should be barred from the hearing until there is an outcome. According to a [s]Cape Times[/s] report, the two doctors are accused of getting other people to ‘stand in’ for them at Nolungile Community Health Centre in Khayelitsha in March 2010 without having informed their locum agency. The two are appearing before a Health Professions Council of SA Conduct Committee.
