New CPD guidelines from AHPCSA for complementary medicine practitioners

The Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA): guidelines for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for acupuncture, aromatherapy, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, naturopathy, osteopathy, phytotherapy, reflexology, therapeutic aromatherapy, therapeutic massage therapy, therapeutic reflexology. Extension: CPD Cycle: 1 July 2019 – 30 June 2021 until 31 December 2021 and CPD Cycle: 1 January 2022 – 31 December 2023,
AHPCSA, having consulted with the professional boards for the above, has resolved that the requirements for CPD for the cycle 1 July to 30 June 2021be extended to 31 December 2021; with further requirements are applicable for CPD for the cycle 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2023.
