To cut medical costs and diagnose minor ailments, some US health insurers are allowing millions of patients to be seen online first. [s]Business Day[/s] reports that in a major expansion of tele-medicine, [b]WellPoint[/b] this month started offering 4m patients the ability to have e-visits with doctors, while [b]Aetna[/b] says it will boost online access to 8m people next year from 3m now.
