British police have opened an investigation into the deaths of a number of patients who were under the care of a surgeon suspended from work amid concerns over safety, reports [s]The Independent[/s]. [b]Sudip Sarker[/b] was excluded by the [b]Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust[/b] in October 2012 under the urgent advice of the [b]Royal College of Surgeons[/b], which had been called in to investigate his clinical practice.
