A well-known Pietermaritzburg pharmacist was found murdered next to his bullet-riddled car last Thursday night, police said.
The 72-year-old from DuziMed Medicine Depot had multiple bullet wounds from high-calibre weapons, and police spokesperson Lt-Colonel Nqobile Gwala told IOL that Plessislaer police were investigating a case of murder.
ER24 spokesperson Ineke van Huyssteen said when paramedics arrived at the scene the man was already dead.
