Three UK sun creams, which include some of the most expensive on the market, do not give the protection they claim. According to consumer watchdog [i]Which?[/i], the creams – by [b]Piz Buin, Malibu[/b] and [b]Hawaiian Tropic[/b] – all offered lower factor protection than the SPF 30 written on the bottle. [b]Calypso[/b] was cheapest on the market and passed the watchdog's tests. The brands said they stood by their testing techniques.
