MOTR could be helpful in treating BPD patients

A group of [b]Swiss[/b] investigators have postulated that motive-oriented ther apeutic relationship (MOTR) could be a particularly helpful ther apeutic ingredient in the early treatment phase of patients with personality disorders, in particular with borderline personality disorders (BPD), reports [s]Medical Xpress[/s]. These findings suggest that adding MOTR to psychiatric and psychother apeutic treatments of BPD is promising. Moreover, the findings shed additional light on the perspective of shortening treatments for patients presenting with BPD.
